“In the bustling city of New York, an orb-weaving spider known as, Aranea Speis, clambers up the city buildings in search of beautiful aerial views. Resting on the rooftops of skyscrapers while gazing at all the different life forms the city has to offer helps Aranea Speis contemplate the world around him. For as long as Speis can remember, he has always dreamt of being a superhero. All his life, he was told wonderful stories of the legendary superhero globally known as Spider-Man, or Spidey for short. When Speis looks at his reflection in a puddle, he awakens to the existence that they are one and the same. Speis has an astonishing ability to channel inner strength, determination, and kindness towards others, just like Spidey. Couple those sincere qualities with Speis' vision of protecting his city and the life forms around him, and he can align with his destiny of becoming the superhero of his dreams. His heroic goal is to brighten dark pockets of the city with luminous feelings of hope and joy. By listening and delivering on the needs of the surrounding citizens, he is recognized as a symbol of genuine peace and care.”

Each plush creation from Earth Wrinkles is imagined and manifested by artist, Kaithlyn Cortez. These whimsical companions are made with high quality faux furs and various fabrics from both new & recycled materials. Each one is sewn a handmade leather tag with the year burnt on the back; they are filled with Poly-Fil, which is made from recycled materials and they are also stuffed with fabric scraps to reduce waste. Each one is crafted with love, care, and attention to detail.
Each unique creation is paired with a specially designed story card and a Certificate of Adoption.
