“Diving deep down the cold waters of the Arctic Ocean is the Delphina Beluga, a rare cetacean born to seek abandoned underwater worlds. Millions of years ago, a diverse community of intelligent whales occupied these once thriving underwater macrocosms. The Delphina Beluga grew up hearing tall tales and folklore surrounding these ancient worlds. The soft head of her species enables her to use sound to "see" underwater through echolocation. By directing her singing voice towards the water and waiting for an echo back, she is able to successfully locate these worlds her ancestors once flourished in. A unique feature of the Delphina Beluga is her branchial plume-like flower on her back. As she swims through these abandoned safe havens for whales, she is able to use this feature to puff out seeds of aquatic bioluminescent flowers. By planting a beautiful underwater garden, she hopes the spirit of her ancestors and all the whales that once thrived here can be celebrated in a new way that will never be forgotten.”

Each plush creation from Earth Wrinkles is imagined and manifested by artist, Kaithlyn Cortez. These whimsical companions are made with high quality faux furs and various fabrics from both new & recycled materials. Each one is sewn a handmade leather tag with the year burnt on the back; they are filled with Poly-Fil, which is made from recycled materials and they are also stuffed with fabric scraps to reduce waste. Each one is crafted with love, care, and attention to detail.
Each unique creation is paired with a specially designed story card and a Certificate of Adoption.
